01 Who is responsible

Latifi Metal SH.P.K., Peja, Kosovo, Reg. no. 812396572, is responsible (the data controller) for the processing described here. This policy is written with regard to the Law on Protection of Personal Data of the Republic of Kosovo (Law No. 06/L-082). Depending on where you are located, other data protection laws may also apply.

02 How to contact us about privacy

You can send privacy questions and requests via contact@latifimetal.com. Please do not send identity documents or other sensitive information unless we ask for it through a secure method.

03 Scope

This policy covers this website and inquiries sent through it. When we work together on a project, the offer or contract may contain further information about how project data is handled.

04 Information you send us

When you use the inquiry form we receive:

• the product or service your inquiry concerns
• your name and email address (required)
• your company, phone number and the project location (optional)
• the description of your project and anything else you choose to write

Please share only what is needed for us to understand the project. The form does not accept file uploads.

05 How your inquiry is handled

The website’s server checks the form and forwards it as an email to Latifi Metal’s mailbox through Resend. The website does not keep a database of inquiries. We then reply from our business email.

06 Technical information

To deliver the website and protect it from abuse, the server necessarily processes your IP address, the time of the request, the page requested and basic browser information. Short technical logs may also be kept by our hosting provider for security and operation.

To limit spam and repeated submissions, the inquiry form keeps a record of recent submissions per IP address in the server’s memory only. It is not written to disk and is discarded after at most one hour, or when the server restarts.

07 Cookies, analytics and third parties

This website does not set cookies, does not use analytics or advertising tools, and does not store anything in your browser’s local storage. It embeds no social media widgets, external maps or videos from other platforms.

Fonts, photographs, product images, the film and the map are served from this website’s own server, so visiting a page does not send your data to font, map or video providers.

08 Why we use your data, and on what basis

• To answer your inquiry and prepare an offer. The legal basis is the steps you ask us to take before a possible contract.
• To keep business correspondence and to establish or defend legal claims. The legal basis is our legitimate interest and our legal obligations.
• To keep the website secure and prevent abuse. The legal basis is our legitimate interest.

We do not use your data for marketing and do not sell it.

09 Who receives your data

Your inquiry is seen by the people at Latifi Metal who handle it. Our service providers, Resend and our hosting provider, process data only to provide their services to us. We share data with others only if the law requires it.

10 International transfers

If a service provider processes data outside Kosovo, we rely on the provider’s contractual and technical safeguards and limit processing to the purposes described here.

11 How long we keep data

Inquiry emails are kept for as long as needed to handle your inquiry and any resulting business relationship, and afterwards only as long as the law requires us to keep business correspondence. Records in server memory that limit repeated submissions are discarded within one hour. Technical logs are kept according to the hosting configuration and deleted after a limited period.

12 Security

The website is designed to collect as little as possible. Form data is validated on the server, transmitted over an encrypted connection when the site runs on HTTPS, and delivered by email rather than stored on the web server. Access to our mailbox is restricted. No online service can guarantee absolute security.

13 Your rights

Subject to the conditions of the applicable law, you may:

• ask whether we process your data and receive a copy
• have inaccurate data corrected
• ask for deletion or restriction of processing
• object to processing based on our legitimate interest
• lodge a complaint with the Information and Privacy Agency of the Republic of Kosovo

To exercise a right, contact us as described above. We may ask for proportionate information to confirm your identity.

14 Children

This website is intended for business and private customers planning construction or fabrication work. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect their data.

15 Changes to this policy

We update this policy when the website or our providers change. The effective date at the top shows the current version.
